May 2001:
These are my creations for the month of May, 2001.
California Poppy for Mom
I drew this in Photoshop for my mother for Mother's Day.
Canada
Goose for my Grandmother
I drew this Canada goose for my grandmother for Mother's day. It was her favorite
type of bird. This was her last mother's day.
Coctail
1
Martini glasses are one of the easiest things to model so I've done a number of versions
of them over the years. This is a Carrara version.
Still
Life 1
This is a Carrara render. I would later import the pen into Bryce.
Still Life 2
I did some post processing in Photoshop to fake a depth of field focal blur.
StillLife
3
Here is the start of a yellow pen to go with the pink highlighter. All of this was
created and rendered in Carrara.
Still
Life 4
Here is another Carrara render. I added a Castle lock.
Broken
Window
I did this one for a challenge. It's a Bryce piece and the window and footprints
are terrains.
Calliope Humingbird
I drew this bird with Photoshop and applied some filters to it.
Egg
Timer
I built and rendered this egg timer in Ray Dream (Carrara) and it is still one of
my most popular models. I've used it in lots of pictures since then.
Blue
Teddy Bear
I drew the bear in Illustrator to test out my understanding of styles.
Twin
Suns
I did this two part composite render in Bryce after some one posted a challenge to
see if it were possible to have alien worlds of mulitiple suns or moons.
Leaves
on Water
I drew this piece in Photoshop.
Forest Light
I drew this in Photoshop to demonstrate the advantages of using a limited palette
of colors.
Solstice
In this Photoshop piece I wanted to represent the solistice for the northern and southern
hemispheres at once.
The Table
I made this table with the metaball legs to stealthily demonstrate the new metaball
feature of Bryce 5 when I was still NDAed during the beta testing phase.
Lyle Coast
I rendered this during my beta testing of Bryce 5. I did it to show in part the trees but it's not one of my better examples.
Castle
Lock
I built and rendered this in Ray Drea (Carrara).
