Gas Crisis: 07/21/05

Ian tried to fill up his gas tank and realized he couldn't. The cable that connects the door to the lever appears to have snapped. He drove the car on fumes to the service station and came home via BART. Fortunately he was able to get a car rental via cell phone on his ride back. The original plan was for me to stay home tomorrow but now I won't. He's now at home with a large minivan.

The good news from all of this is that we'll be able to clear out of storage unit in Daly City and finally get our remaining two bookshelves moved into Ian's hobbit hole office.
