Living on Two Hours of Sleep: 09/10/06

The last couple of weeks before Harriet was born I was getting only four or so hours of sleep. Now that she's here, Ian and I are both living on very little sleep, somewhere between two and maybe four hours of sleep divided into small chunks. Neither one of us is exactly in our right minds but I think I'm doing slightly better than Ian with the lack of sleep.

Harriet is so far a night owl. She likes to do most of her eating from midnight until goodness knows when. It makes nursing her very tiring. We're going to try supplementing that night time feed with some formula to get her to sleep. The rest of the time she'll just get breast milk.
