Comments for Beach Blanket Bonanza Wrap-up

Beach Blanket BonanzaBeach Blanket Bonanza Wrap-up: 09/03/07

Summer has come and gone and it's time to wrap up the beach blanket and head back to work or back to school. I'm really pleased with how my first reading challenge turned out. Like some of my participants, I didn't finish all the books I had planned in time to write reviews, but I had fun reading the books that I did finish.

My reason for failing to complete my list falls mainly on my having so much fun participating in other challenges: Medical Mystery Madness, Armchair Traveler, and the Classics Challenge. Besides that I was reading books for relays and rings and I was reading to my children. If I hadn't run the Beach Blanket Bonanza I may have completely forgotten to read anything just for the sheer joy of losing myself in a story.

Below are links to the reviews written during the challenge.

Thanks for hosting it, it was fun. This was actually the first book challenge I ever participated in!"

I had fun with this. I think I prefer the challenges with small numbers of books to read. Or at least if there is a large number of books, I like the challenge to last a long time! "
