Comments for The Kids' Guide to Digital PhotographyThe Kids' Guide to Digital Photography: 08/06/10
The book has a good introduction to photography and the equipment involved. There are basic pointers on composition, lighting, and so forth. From there the book goes into the ways that digital cameras work and how to use their settings. The remainder of the book has ideas for digital editing of photographs with some creative projects. The digital editing bits were of the most interest to my son. Besides taking photographs, he's also been dabbling in Photoshop and Illustrator. As the book was published in 2004, some of the technical aspects are getting out of date but the core skills hold up and will continue to until the point that photography changes into a very different art form. books | Jenni Bidner | nonfiction | 2004 © 1997-2012 Sarah Sammis
