As soon as I started reading the story, both children dropped what they were doing. They snuggled next to me on the couch for me to read the book. The Octonauts are a group of animal underwater explorers. In this book they decided to spend their vacation on the Great Reef. When they arrive though, they find a ghost town with only one elderly sea turtle left. In the course of their investigation they discover that the town has choked all the sunlight from the coral. To save the town they must save the coral and learn to build in a more environmentally friendly way. Along with the story each page has all the illustrated animals and plants labeled. We read the book through once for the story and a second time to see all the different animals and plants. I will have to look for the other books in the series. The Series:
