Comments for The Fairy's ReturnThe Fairy's Return: 12/28/10
The Fairy's Return by Gail Carson Levine is her unique take on the Golden Goose fairy tale. There's Robin, the baker's son and the very bored Princess Lark, and a fairy trying to do good but not necessarily getting it right. Harriet's not familiar with the original story but she thought it was funny that the boy and the girl both had bird names. Of all the books from this series we read, this one didn't hold her attention as well as others did. I found them once years ago and read through all my library had (a half dozen I think). They didn't have this one. Comment #2: Monday, January 3, 2010 at 21:43:31 Pussreboots I've read about a half dozen of Levine's fairy tales as well. I don't know how many I have left to read. I just pick them up as I see them. © 1997-2012 Sarah Sammis
