If the first book was about his life and his initial response to the diagnosis, this book was his "so now what?" response. For Fox it meant ending his acting career (for the most part) and beginning a career of fund raising and campaigning for stem cell research. I am certainly interested in the progress (or lack there of) in Parkinson's research. Always Looking Up is more about the people involved in his work. It's about the process of campaigning, not about the results. It's a long list of name dropping and day to day details instead of the results or consequences. For such an interesting topic, the book is dull. Two stars. Other posts and reviews:books | Michael J. Fox | nonfiction | 2008 © 1997-2012 Sarah Sammis
