All in all I loved the book but it took a little too long to get started. The book opens with a reunion of most of the major characters. It's played out to be a happy time on the farm where everyone is living happily ever after. But I just wanted to get to the good part! Fortunately once the foursome get to the ship that's on the cover the story takes off. It has a similar flow of clues as a Dan Brown book or even The Club Dumas but aimed at middle grade readers. As all good puzzle mysteries should be written, the riddles and clues before the children are things that alert readers can solve too. Four stars. Thanks for the review. Comment #2: Thursday, June 7, 2011 at 17:55:01 Pussreboots Once they get on the ship, it's a great book. It's just a little slow to get started. Happy reading. © 1997-2013 Sarah Sammis
