Love is eternal, even after death. So is stalking. Five Star Protective Services is called in to protect a celebrity from his dead lover. Of course it takes a little while for the celebrity to convince security that he's being stalked by a dead man but he does. Mostly though it's the stalker who makes the truth obvious by making a nuisance of his dead self. To make things more interesting, the protagonist and the celebrity have a history. They've known each other since well before they settled into their current jobs. There's an emotional tension between the two that sometimes gets played for laughs. Four stars. I kind of forgot about this magazine, I should check it out more. I used to read Realms of Fantasy and loved it. Comment #2: Sunday, September 4, 2011 at 22:17:30 Pussreboots FS&F is the only magazine I subscribe to right now. I love their stories but even with only one, I'm falling behind on my issues. © 1997-2013 Sarah Sammis
