Paintings

Painting has been a passion of mine since 1984. I started with tempera paints, similar to what school children use (which makes sense as I was a school child at the time), moved on to oils in 1986 but settled on acrylics in 1991.

I have been fortunate enough to sell a few of my paintings. Mostly, though, the paintings have been given as gifts or kept to decorate my own walls. I have completed over one hundred paintings and am currently working on two pieces.

Painting for me is a hobby. I am primarily self taught.

As of 2003, I've temporarily put away my easel and paints. My son is much too interested in getting into everything and is still too young to explain to him not to touch my art supplies. I hope to find a safe place to set up this summer (2004). Until then, this gallery will have to remain devoid of new content. As of 2006, I am still not painting as I am pregnant. Perhaps in a few more years I will start up again.
