Step 3: Create the seat

To make sure that the seat would fit with the legs/ seat back, I duplicated the original shape created in the Free Form Modeler and gave the copy a double click. When the "Create New Master?" window opened, I clicked OK.

Once back in the Free Form Modeler, I drew a seat shape around the two squares. Once I had the seat shape to my liking, I deleted the two squares, leaving the new seat shape.

As you can see, the seat in its current state is far too thick be useful. So I had to shrink the extrusion path to something reasonable.

Then I clicked done and returned to the main window. The seat will be aligned to the top of the seat back (the starting point of the original master). So some realigment will be necessary.

After moving the seat downwards, I changed the color of the seat to green and switched the view to TOP to check my alignment.
