Step 2: Create the head

Use the pen tool to draw a shape for the head.

Use the path fill tool to color the head shape the same color as the ladybug's body. Then delete the Work path by clicking on the trash can icon at the bottom of the path palette.

Then use the same technique for the body spots to create a pair of eyes on the head.
