How to FTP with DreamweaverStep 2: Define Your Site Dreamweaver stores it's FTP information in it's "Site Definitions." Go to Site / Manage Sites to bring up the Site Manager. Click on "New" to create a new site.
Click on the Advanced Tab to bring up the window shown above. In the "Site name" box, type a name for your site. Give it a name that's easy to remember and is obviously related to your real website. In my case, I've called my site "PRB" which is short for "Puss Reboots." Locate the folder where your local website files live. Click on the folder icon to browse to that folder or you can just type the information into the window. Click the "enable cache" button. It will speed things up a bit in Dreamweaver when you're working on files. The other two boxes can be left empty. Step three will explain how to set up the "Remote Info."
